Submission Instructions: Completed application form (downloadable version) along with a typed, double-spaced, 8 ½” x 11” page essay describing the importance of leadership and community service must be submitted to be eligible. There are no specific instructions regarding essay other than it is written to best reflect applicants’ viewpoints about the importance of leadership and community service in their local communities. All applications for the Bright Futures Scholar Program must be complete and postmarked no later than March 16, 2012. Multiple scholars will be awarded. Winners will be notified by April 30, 2012.
